GENTLE YOGA FOR ALL
This class begins as all my classes do, with a mindful relaxation and breath awareness. We then go through a gentle yoga sequence designed to alleviate tightness and tension. We close with a Yoga Nidra style relaxation and Breath Practice to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated for the rest of the week.
MUM & BABY YOGA
This class is for mum and baby to come along and enjoy together. We move gently through a carefully thought out sequence to support mums to feel more comfortable in their bodies, taking time to connect with your baby and get them involved throughout the class. We close the class with breath work and quiet time to soothe mum and baby.
A new addition to the existing Mum and Baby yoga at Muma Nurture, we are adding a Pregnancy Yoga class to the timetable on a Tuesday at 12-1pm. This class will be a space where you can move, breathe and be together, supporting your mind, body and soul whilst creating meaningful connections with other mums to be.
The class includes breathwork, movement and meditation all designed specifically to support you during pregnancy, birth and postnatally. There will also be time to connect and share ideas.
Classes strictly limited to a maximum of 6 mums. Booking link via our timetable page or HERE.
Dynamic yoga is open to gym members only and is a more fast paced class. We begin this class with some time to ground in and connect with the breath, then move through a sequence of postures designed around our class intention. And close with a dreamy meditation and breath work. This class is the perfect balance of challenge and relaxation for those yogis looking to elevate their practice.
COMMUNITY CHAIR YOGA
Sometimes getting up and down from the mat can feel overwhelming. This class is fabulous for those looking to further explore their movement but who don’t have the confidence, or perhaps have an injury that prevents them from being able to attend mat based classes.
Our class begins with relaxation and breath awareness then moves through a gentle practice chair based practice. Movement is mainly seated but there are always modifications to further your practice when you feel ready. We close with a Yoga Nidra style relaxation and further breath work.
Classes are held at The Printer’s Playhouse, Grove Road, Eastbourne and are charged for a donation only to the Printer’s Playhouse Community Fund.
BREATHWORK & YOGA NIDRA
This class has a little something for everyone. We work through 3 styles of breath-work, followed by a dreamy Yoga Nidra meditation.
Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a form of deep relaxation and meditation. It is typically practiced lying down, and involves guided imagery and body scan techniques to help the practitioner reach a state of complete physical and mental relaxation. It is said to have both physical and mental benefits, including reducing stress and anxiety, promoting better sleep, and improving overall well-being.
The goal of the breath work is to increase control over the breath and to cultivate awareness of the breath, which can help to reduce stress and improve overall well-being.
